1. Agreement to Terms

By creating a Tinkl account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Tinkl. If you are under 18, we encourage you to review these terms with a parent or guardian so they are aware of your use of the App.

2. Description of Service

Tinkl is a social planning application that helps friends coordinate hangouts, share availability, send spontaneous invites ("Shakes"), and plan events using shared calendars.

Tinkl is free to use. There is no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no advertising.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password and any activity that occurs under your account.

• One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts.
• Provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Tinkl, you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Send spam or unsolicited messages
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Post or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Use Tinkl for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or share through Tinkl, including messages, event details, profile information, and photos.

By posting content on Tinkl, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display, transmit, and store that content solely as necessary to provide the App's functionality (e.g., showing your messages to other calendar members, displaying your profile to friends).

You are responsible for the content you share. Do not post anything you would not want associated with your identity.

6. Intellectual Property

The Tinkl name, logo, visual design, and all original content created by us are owned by the operator of Tinkl. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the App without our prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your use of Tinkl is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Tinkl, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms of Use. We will endeavour to notify you of any such action, but reserve the right to act immediately where necessary to protect other users or the integrity of the service.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

9. Disclaimers

Tinkl is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, free from errors, or uninterrupted.

We are not responsible for user-generated content, the behaviour of other users, or any real-world outcomes that may result from plans made through the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), our liability to you is limited to the re-supply of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App (via an in-app notification or system announcement).

Your continued use of Tinkl after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
